Pre-K Aerobics

When the weather outside is frightful (less than 25 degrees) we try to move our bodies inside. The students have fun with their DVD workouts!

Pre-K Field Trip, Thursday, Jan 21

The students are so excited for our field trip to the Bloomington-Normal Children's Museum! Each student needs a grown-up and a sack lunch to take with them.
Please be at the school by 9 so we can take attendance and load the busses by 9:15.
Adults are welcome to bring younger children but will need to provide their own transportation and pay the siblings' entrance fees.
(If we have a snow day, our alternate day will be Wed, Jan 27)

The Mitten

We have enjoyed reading The Mitten this week! Today we acted the story out with our classroom puppets. The children used the reading nook to be their giant mitten and kept making room for new animals seeking shelter.
A few questions to ask your child:
What was your favorite part of the story?
What color did Nikki want his mittens to be?
Why did Baba not want to knit white mittens for Nikki?
What animal made the bear sneeze?
