Baby Chicks!

Third grade hatched eggs and invited us to take a peek at the baby chicks!

Evacuation Drill, PM Class

Our school did a practice evacuation and our pre-k class did beautifully! They sat so patiently (I did hand out lollipops!) they were so well behaved, and I was so proud of them!

Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree!

We have a song with motions that the kids love...ask your child to sing for you!

I looked out the window and what did I see?
Popcorn popping on the apricot tree
Spring has brought me such a nice surprise
Blossoms popping right before my eyes

I could take an armful and make a treat
a popcorn ball that would smell so sweet
It wasn't really so, but it seemed to me

A Crawdad at School!

Mrs. Patrick is the bravest!! As much as I tried some major self-talk, I could not bring myself to pick that creature up....but Mrs. Patrick went right to it!! So brave!

Crazy Socks AM Class

I was only able to take a pic of the morning class because I had a substitute for the afternoon class...but the crazy socks day for Dr Seuss week was so fun!

Green Eggs and Ham

We read the book "Green Eggs and Ham"...and then made them...and ate them! I was amazed that I only had one student who chose not to try them (I'm sure her family knows who she is!). Most of the children had second and third servings!
