The girls had the same book and read together....completely awesome!
These two were being sleeping cats.
Working so hard on his writing skills!
More writing time with the literacy baskets.
The sand table contines to be popular.
These two buddies were working hard.
Aerilyn and Kendyl building a city.
George loves the water table!
We've added several new items to our craft area (the apple table) and the students love using feathers, pom poms, foam, felt and glitter.
Thank you to Mrs. Rausch for donating books to our classroom!! We love them! Sierra in the afternoon class helped sort through them and organize.
Dr. Ellie was working on the computer :)
Jasper and Chase working together at pouring and measuring.
Sadie and Drake sharing snack time.
Important Dates!
The firefighters will be here on Wednesday, October 18. We always look forward to their visit! They will teach us to Stop, Drop, and Roll...show us the fire truck...and sometimes they even let us try out the fire hose!
(Just found out the fire fighters have postponed. I'll post the new date when I find out.)

No School on Monday!
Just a reminder...there is no school on Monday, February 17 due to Presidents' Day.
Valentines and Buildings
The students have been hard at work decorating their Valentine mailboxes! (There is still time for your child to bring in a box.)
Addison and Bradley
Each child has given a lot of thought and effort to independently creating their mailbox.
Lots of creativity!!
We are also still talking about buildings. This week we have discussed some of the tools used in constructing buildings.
Drake was busy running the hot cocoa stand.
Lots of construction!!
Khloe did some writing.
Stormi was reading her work.
Chase and Jasper built a really cool garage with a ramp!
Many of our students have fallen in love with glitter!
Cooper was building with play-doh...he had to move his work station to the writing center because the mailbox projects have taken over our art area!
Victoria and Amelia worked to build structures taller than them!
Water table measuring and pouring
Thaeda requested this picture be taken :)
Aerilyn creating a happy home.
Broghen and Eli sharpening their math skills with a block puzzle.
Today we brought out Lincoln Logs!
They built mountains of sand.
Aerilyn and Presley compared their different editions of Brown Bear.
Kendyl and Justyne read books together.

Just a random couple of days...
The students love the literacy baskets and use them often.
Madelyn normally starts her day with a literacy basket.
We are doing a unit on buildings and the kids love using the blocks to create structures...perhaps my superheroes are building a building they can leap over in a single bound.
Snack time is social time.
Playdoh builds fine motor muscles they will use when writing.
More students using literacy baskets :)
Oops! Nevermind the Diet Pepsi!
Creating...
and writing...
Her eyes might be shut but Aerilyn worked hard at patterning with the magnet shapes. She did great and then mentored Amelia through it!
Legos also help develop fine motor skills.
Literacy baskets, literacy baskets...
Eli and Justeen working together.
Amelia was counting and building.
Happy Hour with milk and snacks!
I had several engineers/architects looking over blueprints today.
Thanks to Mr. Patrick for the blueprints!
Thaeda and Victoria
Checking to see which structure is the tallest
One of my very favorite things is to catch them reading...it always warms my heart!
Amelia was able to continue reading even though there was a tornado of math manipulatives!
Drake did a great job on the bulldozer puzzle!
Andrue did well at washing his hands before snack!
A sweet group of creativity!
Addison worked hard drawing a building.
Justeen made a skyscraper.
Ellie practiced her pouring skills!
Our hot cocoa stand!
Kamdyn deciding what to build
Sadie wrote her name!!
So did Sierra!!
