Important Dates!

The firefighters will be here on Wednesday, October 18. We always look forward to their visit! They will teach us to Stop, Drop, and Roll...show us the fire truck...and sometimes they even let us try out the fire hose!

(Just found out the fire fighters have postponed. I'll post the new date when I find out.)

Fire Safety Week

Last Friday, the fire department came to visit. We were so impressed!
The children loved seeing the big, red truck!
Unfortunately, the fire fighters had some stiff competition in the morning...the garbage truck was pretty awesome lifting the dumpster.
We learned what to do when we hear our home fire alarm going off.

Most of us practiced how to stop, drop, and roll.
And everyone was way excited to shoot the fire hose!!!

Picture Catch-Up!

Shayla is our high school helper who comes in on Tuesday mornings. She works really well with our students.
I love when two or more students collaborate!! Broghen and Thaeda were practicing writing their names and Broghen had the great idea to get their name cards to look at...
